Background
I always wanted to be a programmer, but at the last minute I decided to study dentistry instead. I liked medicine, and the idea of spending my whole life in front of a computer didn’t sound particularly appealing.
Still, by 2016, I’d started learning to code alongside my studies at a medical university in Kyiv. That summer, a friend and I started freelancing on Upwork.
On the day of my final university exam in 2017, I went straight from the exam to my first day at Enkonix. I worked there until October 2019, then flew to Asia.
I spent about six months travelling without working, then freelanced until I joined GlobalLogic.

Outside work
Sport is a big part of my life, mostly Muay Thai. I also love hiking and spending time in the mountains. My latest obsession is via ferratas.
I listen to a bit of everything, but I keep coming back to ambient, bass music and experimental sounds. I’m also learning guitar and would love to play bossa nova properly one day.
I like travelling and reading. Lately I’ve been trying to read more in Portuguese, which is a good reminder of how much Portuguese I still have left to learn.
